Sports First Aid
The Sports First Aid course is a specialist first aid course that teaches players, managers or coaches how to treat common sports injuries and resuscitate sportsmen and women who are knocked unconscious while playing sport.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no entry requirements for this course
Who is this course aimed at?
Any one who is involved in sporting activities and may be responsible for the provision of First Aid.
What will I be doing on the course?
You will learn the core skills required to deal with life threatening illnesses and injuries. In addition the course covers the initial treatment of common sports injuries including soft tissue, head, neck and spinal injuries. There is also and element of Paediatric Basic Life Support.
How do I study the course?
The course is run over a single day, with approximately 6 – 7 hrs contact time.
What can I do after the course?
We recommend the Four Day First Aid at Work course.

Certificate is valid for three years.
